We walked down Fifth and considered going to the Empire State Building. As I hadn't been there in over ten years and Brenda had never been, we continued going down the street. Along the way, we found a tiny yarn shop, with rare kinds of yarn, ranging from about $2.00 per skein to about $20.00 for a tiny skein of a very odd, scratchy yarn that might have given you enough to make a pair of socks.
We went to the Empire State Building and had to go to the basement to get in line. The line lasted for nearly an hour. By the time we got upstairs, it was almost sunset.
