Two Pittsburghers in Hollywood:
Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens Accept the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay
As much as I would wanted to see Return of the King win many Oscars, the two biggest surprises for me were Best Editing and Best Adapted Screenplay (particularly since Fellowship of the Ring had deserved both awards and won neither, and the editing in the theatrical version was shakey in places). So here's Peter collecting his first Oscar, along with Fran and Philippa Boyens for Best Adapted Screenplay.
